Over the next few months, we’ll be supporting an amazing children’s charity - Alex’s Lemonade Stand! The first in our Charity Spotlight series, Alex’s Lemonade Stand works hard to find cures for all children battling cancer.
We are calling on all our Rooster families to come together and help fundraise money for our spotlight charity Alex’s Lemonade Stand. Setting money aside for a cause is something many of our Roosters have been doing within our Spend, Save and Give framework. With over a million families globally, imagine what we could raise if we all came together to put some of our pocket money to a great cause?
With Lemonade Days coming up from June 5 – 13, there’s also an opportunity to get your kids showcasing entrepreneurial skills while raising money for a great cause!
To add to that, RoosterMoney have donated $500 to get us going, and will continue to donate $1 for every family that you refer who signs up to Rooster PLUS. Read on to find out more about what Alex’s Lemonade Stand do and how you and your kids can take part 👇
Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation was founded by Alexandra ‘’Alex’’ Scott.
When she was just four years old, Alex held her first childhood cancer fundraiser in her front yard in the form of a lemonade stand and raised over $2,000. By the time of her death in 2004, Alex raised $1 million and inspired a legacy of hope and cures for childhood cancer.

We’re excited to introduce Alex’s Lemonade Stand to our Rooster Community and encourage our Rooster Families to get involved in their annual Lemonade Days campaign. Last year alone, over $1 million was raised for childhood cancer research and we’re excited for everyone to get involved in helping them hit that again 🎉
Up and down the country, kids and families can follow the footsteps of Alex and set up their own Lemonade Stand to help raise funds to beat childhood cancer. You can download some awesome stand materials here and have your kids’ creativity come through with their stands 🎨.

2. Of course, if your child wants to support ALSF by donating some of their allowance, that would be great too!
They can use the Give Pot in the app and search for Alex’s Lemonade Stand in the JustGiving directory 🕵️♀️
