We’ve been in touch with you recently to let you know that some of the personal information we hold about you is incomplete. As we offer a regulated financial product, we are required to hold certain information about you. 

 

As you have not provided the information requested, your NatWest Rooster Money account has now been frozen.

What does this mean?

Any Rooster Cards on the account have now been disabled. You won’t be able to withdraw or move money from the account, or between the parent account and the child pots (including the card pot).

What do I need to provide to reactivate my account? 

We need an updated Proof of Address document for your current address, as the details you previously gave us as Proof of Address don’t match the address on your account. 

What documents can I use? 

You can upload any one of the following documents showing your current address: 

  • Valid Full UK Driving License (we can’t accept Provisional Licenses)
  • Council tax bill
  • Utility bill
  • Bank Statement  (we can’t accept bank statements from NatWest) 

How do I upload it? 

You can upload it in the Rooster Money app by following the steps below: 

  1. Go to the top right menu on your family dashboard
  2. Select “Upload documents”
  3. Follow the instructions on screen to take a photo or upload an image of one the documents listed above

Please do not reply to this email with images of your documents.   

What happens next? 

 

Once you’ve uploaded your Proof of Address document, we’ll check that the address matches your current address and let you know if we need any more information. 

 

If you no longer use your NatWest Rooster Money account and would like to delete it, please respond to this message to let our team know. If there is a balance left on your account, our team will let you know and provide the next steps on how to withdraw funds back to your bank account.

What happens if I don’t do anything? 

If we don’t hear from you, we may serve notice of our intention to permanently close your account based on section 12.4 of our Terms and Conditions.
