As a product for children, security is a priority for NatWest Rooster Money.

We are reaching out to let you know that our ongoing account monitoring has detected an attempt by a third party to guess your Rooster Card details.

Our security systems including those built into your Rooster Card stepped in quickly to prevent any impact to our customers, and your account has not been compromised.

What you need to do next

We believe in going the extra mile to keep your children’s money secure, and in this case, we recommend that you replace your Rooster Card.

To avoid leaving your child without their Rooster Card when they need it, we are giving you the steps on how you can replace your card in-app so that you can do this at a time that suits you. Following these steps will keep your current card active until the new one arrives.

To order your new card:

Head to your NatWest Rooster Money app
From the Family Dashboard, tap ‘Card’ underneath your child(s) tile
Select ‘Choose a new card design’
Pick a card design and tap ‘Select design’
Check your address and make any updates if you have recently moved
Tap ‘Order card’

The new card will be with you within 10 days, and your current card will continue working until then.
