Get pedalling this new term

With the new school year recently kicked off, it’s a good time to look at the ways kids can get there and back, and stay safe while doing it. We’ve partnered with Bikeability to support Cycle to School Week ’24, encouraging kids across the country to use their pedal power this year.

We’ve also been speaking to the public about hot back to school topics with Mr G, and heard from over 1000 teachers to get their best back to school tips.

However they get to school, road safety is something your kids should always be aware of when they’re out and about. Make sure they know what to do to keep themselves, and their friends, safe on their journey.

Travelling with a Rooster Card

This September, we’re supporting Bikeability to promote a cycling commute to school with the return of Cycle to School Week. There’s still time to get involved and turn your pledges into pedal power.

If your kids use public transport, the Rooster Card could be their ticket to easier, hassle-free travel. With contactless, Apple Pay, and Google PayTM, they could make their journeys that much smoother.
