When opening the app, a summary of the purchase being made is shown with the option to approve or reject the purchase. Once you or your child has approved the purchase, their transaction will go through as normal.
Ensure your child can continue using their Rooster Card online 💳
From 14th March, the majority of online purchases will need to be verified in the app. You and your child will need to download the latest version of the RoosterMoney app (v9.1.0), to be able to verify online purchases.
Why have we made these changes? 🏦
Due to European Regulations (PSD II) and FCA requirements, online transactions are becoming more secure. Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) is now required ahead of authorising an online purchase to further reduce the risk of fraud.
