When we set up RoosterMoney, we were very clear on our mission. We believe the world would be a better place if we all started talking about money earlier. Since we launched, more than 200,000 of you have joined our Rooster Family; thank you for your amazing support 🎉
Along with the rest of the team, I’m really excited to announce the release of a new dashboard for your kids and a new pot – Give. It’s always been our intention that Giving should play a core part in our app framework and we now support the ‘Spend Save Give’ framework. This is the first step in that offering.
This is something we’ve been developing with the help of our Pioneer families and all of you who have messaged in with your ideas. So a big thank you to you all. We are always listening.
Keep us posted on what you think and good luck with your saving!

Spend | Save | Give
We’ve introduced a new pot structure that we hope will help your family better visualise where money is, and encourage them to think about what they want to do with it.
Kids and parents can transfer between pots and we’ll help you keep track of the comings and going with the transaction cards. Parents can now also boost directly from within the pot. LEARN MORE!
You can even set up Split Allowance percentages and choose what % of allowance you’d like sent to Spend, Save or Give on allowance day. SEE HOW!
Hide Pots
As you know, we are a framework designed to work with how you want to teach your kids about money. If you don’t want to use a particular pot, you can access your child’s pot settings from their child dashboard settings, and hide it. LEARN MORE!
Upcoming features:
- We’re taking customisation to the next level! Want to call your pots something else? Renaming will be with you soon.
- You can currently view an overall statement for your child’s account by clicking on their account total on their dashboard. However, we know it’s important to break things down another level, so we’ll be introducing individual Pots Statements soon!
