It’s time to swap out your heavy winter clothes with new light spring materials and what better way to welcome in the new season than reorganising your kids’ wardrobes? Take an old suitcase and have the kids put away heavy coats, tracksuits and thick jumpers into it. Make spring cleaning for kids’ fun by creating your own home car wash. Write a list of things that need to be cleaned and let the kids get to work on the car. If you have two cars you can make a game and split the kids into two teams, letting them work on a timer ticking the list as they go and see who does it the fastest and the cleanest!

With sunshine comes greenery and little weeds. Get the kids to help in the garden and let them look over the lawn and pavement for weeds plucking them as they go.
